Driver/Operator of a Vacuum Truck for Civil Engineering

To support our growing civil engineering operations, we are looking for an enthusiastic Civil Engineering Vacuum Truck Driver/Operator. In this role, you will work on a wide range of infrastructure and civil engineering projects. Using your vacuum truck, you will support contractors, cable and pipeline companies and other clients with excavation work where safety and precision are paramount.

As a Civil Engineering Vacuum Truck Driver/Operator, you are the face of our company. You work independently, contribute ideas on site and ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Your duties:

• Driving and operating the vacuum truck;
• Carrying out suction work on cables, pipes and other underground infrastructure;
• Supporting work in the civil engineering sector;
• Safely clearing cables and pipes without risk of damage;
• Checking and maintaining the machine and equipment on a daily basis;
• Maintaining contact with clients, contractors and colleagues on site;
• Ensuring a safe and tidy workplace;
• Processing work orders and journey data.

What do we expect from you?

• Hold a Category C or CE driving licence and Code 95.
• Experience as a lorry driver, machine operator or in civil engineering is an advantage.
• Technical understanding and an affinity for machinery.
• Be able to work independently and take responsibility.
• A customer-focused and flexible approach.
• A good command of the Dutch language.
• VCA certificate or a willingness to obtain one.
